At germination we believe that you cannot underestimate the power of bringing people together to meet, join in and discuss things that matter.

No man is an island. By entering collective experiences we debate, learn, consider and then decipher the world around us and how to improve it.

We see our job as creating the space for conversations to flourish, and the spark for social capital to grow.

Frustrated by tired old event formats, pop TV and worthy-but-boring community art, we wanted to do something new. germination offers fresher and more aesthetic ways of bringing audiences together, and our work is inspired by the best of theatre, the creativity of brand marketing and the energy of a great gig.

Our aim is to build social capital through our events and projects, to help people meet each other and to collaborate. We are purveyors of participatory culture – online and through real world experiences. We hope our work inspires and contributes to social progress – by building communities, inspiring quality, creating the right environment for innovation and increasing social mobility. Lasting connections and partnerships have been made through germination events – something we continue to be proud of.
